It’s been almost a year since I traveled around the wonders of Asia with my cousin and friend. Looking back brought memories and fulfillment on our journey. This journey took more than two months in the making. We researched, booked flights & accommodations, inquired here & there, researched some more… and we did it ALL on our own! No travel agency needed! Only a laptop/PC, internet, and a lot of brainstorming. 🙂
We left Qatar eleven in the evening, 24th March 2011.
(Highlights while we wait for boarding…)
This guy doesn’t care if he’s blocking the way…
…got tired, sat on his luggage and even stretched his legs. haha!
Yep, that’s a Ducatti. In an airport. For display. 😉
We traveled for an hour to Dubai (DXB) then a 3-hour stop over before heading to Hong Kong (HKG).
During our eight-hour HKG flight… I then realized we’re on an Airbus A380! (only the world’s largest passenger airliner) How cool is that?! 😀
The diff from other aircraft? Bigger leg space, bigger LCD and a USB slot for charging your device. 🙂
Stopped over in Bangkok (BKK) for an hour to re-fuel…
…then we finally arrived HKG an hour later. 🙂
After hours of travel, our five destination voyage from Hong Kong to Macau, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia begins. 🙂 Click here for the itinerary.
