Chef Julien prepared a blend of traditional flavours from Lebanon, Cyprus, Syria, Jordan and Palestine to sample. Here are the selection of starters and mains served based on the Chef’s choice.

What they served:

Widespread of starters

Trio Hummus (A blend of chickpeas, tahini, lemon & olive oil. Came in three flavours: Traditional, chutney & Beyrouty). One of the best hummus I've tried in Doha.

Fattouch Debss El Reman (A finely chopped blend of Mediterranean vegetables, crispy fried bread, sprinkled with lemon, sumac, olive oil dressing & glazed of pomegranate molasses)

Moutabal - Eggplant tapenade blended with tahini, fresh lemon juice & topped with tomatoes

Al Sufra Cheese Roll (Fried cheese, basterma spring roll)

Al Sufra Kibbeh Baladiyeh (Fried traditional kibbeh)

Shrimps Mutaffa - Garlic & lemon marinated shrimps with olive oil

Mix Mashawi Platter (A mix of shish taouk, lahme michwiyi, kofta & lamb chop with biwaz salad served with spicy tomato sauce & garlic dip) One of the best mixed grills I've tried. The chicken is really moist and juicy. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly.

Al Sufra’s freshly baked Kunafeh, hot and cheese melts in your mouth.

Being a Qatar resident for a decade, I must say I’m still unfamiliar with Arabic dishes. Al Sufra is a perfect gateway to experience Arabian culinary journey. A sumptuous dining experience in an intricate and grand setting. Huge servings that are good for 2-3 people. It was an absolute gastronomic feast!

QAR 300 – 400 (good for 2-3 people)
