This contemporary stylish restaurant inside Kempinski Residences & Suites is hidden behind a revolving mirrored door, like in the movies wherein you’ll feel like a secret agent. Aroma serves a wide array of food, from seafood, lamb dishes, high-class steaks to Camel burgers. A few of those dishes are served at Aroma’s Express Business lunch. The creative set menu prepared by their talented chefs, features different cuisines around the world.
Aroma’s Express Business lunch:
Chicken Cobb Salad (Chicken, avocados, beef bacon, lettuce, quail eggs and rancher dressing). One of the refreshing salads we've tried in Doha. Although I find the serving of the dressing too much. We loved the hint of blue cheese, it was delicious!
Salmon Tiradito (Salmon, Tiger milk, tomato seeds, edamame beans).
Lentil soup (served with lemon and pita crisps)
Udon seafood soup (assorted seafood, spring onions, mushrooms). The broth is light and tasty, although surprisingly quite spicy, which was not indicated in the menu.
Pan seared Chilean Sea Bass (with green asparagus Mousseline & Capers sauce). The sea bass melts-in-your-mouth and is seasoned really well. The plating though seemed a bit vibrant. For me, less is more.
K Signature Camel burger (Camel patty topped with Feta and Kashkaval cheese, veal bacon and olive crumble in a sesame bun served with potato wedges) Yep this is camel. It was cooked according to my liking, no gamey taste on the meat but needs a bit more seasoning. It is tummy-filling, good to share with someone.
Red Velvet Lava Cake (with butterscotch ice cream). Their red velvet lava cake is indulgent. I find some fruits a bit sour. The cake is perfectly served with the ice cream.
Millefeuille alle Fragole (Layered puff pastry with fresh strawberries and lemon flavored custard cream). Eventhough I'm not a fan of berries, the lemon custard and the pastry is pleasing.
Aroma is a perfect location for enjoyment, relaxation, and socializing. Indulging yourself in an atmosphere of delicious food with great wines and cocktails.
